 Concert Institution Kaunas Music Ensemble “Ainiai“ invites you to cooperate in educational work and to help in its implementation.
Music is one of the most important expressions of human spirituality. It changes the inside of the child, arouses emotions, creativity, imagination, and fantasies, satisfies the need for self-expression, encourages and activates creative potential of children.
We have prepared four theatricalized concert programs of educational character. The programs are adopted for children of various age, they me be used as integrated lessons, as well. All the programs have been prepared in accordance with the recommendations of LR Ministry of Education and Science and are performed by professional musicians – poly-instrumentalists with high education.
 "Juze of Palanga"
The program was prepared on the basis of M. Valancius short story “Juze of Palanga” . During the concert, through the character of Juze, the artists tell about the communication of people in the 19 th century, their customs, jokes and household, and ingeniously include musical pieces, play with various musical instruments of Lithuanian folklore.
During the theatricalized concert a lot of ethnographic and folk material is presented, there are lots of folk games and songs shown.
"Fairy-Tale of Flax Works"
In this program the musicians of the ensemble – artists introduce the children to sixteen different Lithuanian folk musical instruments, their sound, origin, and possibilities of expression in a comprehensive, playful and merry way.
"Tricks of Shepherds"
In this program the musicians of the ensemble play different Lithuanian folk musical instruments and tell about Lithuanian folk traditions, customs, dreams and joys of shepherds in a comprehensive, funny and ingenious way. "Merry Pipe"
The program is meant for children of pre-scholastic age. It is a theatricalized fairy-tale, during which children will be visited by fairies, witches, king and other characters. Children are involved into the events and imitate animals, musical instruments during the tale, they also communicate with the characters.
